WP2 and WP3: Title: Assessment of buildings as microgrids completed with coolth as demand shift

An integrated optical-thermal-electrical modelling of the building integrated (BIPV) and building applied photovoltaics (BAPV) modules which will include different parametric studies of the system at various UK and Indian locations will be developed and validated through in-house experiments. A variety of different solar technology will be considered (such as Si, thin-film, flexible and semi-transparent optically integrated system) in order to obtain optimum thermal and electrical load for specified buildings. 

Objectives

• To access optimal performance of BIPV technologies for variety of different weather conditions as building energy load
• To access optimal performance of BAPV technologies for different weather conditions as building energy load
