Prestigious IEEE PES Prize Paper Award to JUICE Investigator
JUICE investigator Prof Bikash Pal, Imperial College London, has been honoured with the prestigious 2018 IEEE PES Prize Paper Award.
2018 IEEE PES Prize Paper Award for a paper, in EEE Transactions on Power Systems, Vol. 30, No. 6, pp. 2902-2912, Nov 2015 entitled “A Dynamic Mode Decomposition Framework for Global Power System Oscillation Analysis”. Out of about 3500 journal papers published between 2015 and 2017 in five IEEE PES journals 22 were nominated by various technical committees for the IEEE PES prize paper award. This paper ranked top of the two finally being awarded the prize in 2018.
