Amruta P Joshi
Working as Research fellow in University of Southampton, currently focussing on optimisation of energy storage for fault tolerant operation of microgrid. This involves identifying appropriate sizing of energy storage devices (ESD) for addressing fault ride through (FRT). This has been carried out through modelling and simulation of equivalent circuit models of the ESDs, correlating it with their expected functionality for achieving FRT as well validating it with experimentation. She has completed Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in Silicon solar photovoltaics and worked as Research Associate at National Centre for Photovoltaic Research and Education, before joining at Southampton.
